We celebrate the excellent results our pupils achieved this year in their GCSE’s, in spite of the challenges posed by Covid-19 and Ofqual’s officials.
95.2% of Shoreham College’s pupils have been awarded GCSEs at 9-4 across all examinations this year and 94.55% also achieved 5 grades at 9-4 including English and Mathematics.
The college also saw a significant increase in grades 9-7, rising from last year’s 26% to 35%.
On average the college’s pupils achieved more than half a grade above nationally standardised predictions. Shoreham College is academically non-selective and many pupils achieved excellent value-added, demonstrating what strong teaching and pupil commitment can achieve.
