It has been a good week for sporting success, as those people who follow the
We had some very tired cadets arrive at college on Monday morning following their expedition at the weekend. The good news was they didn’t get too wet and everyone seems to have had an enjoyable time. Later today Sarah Hopwood from Paul Hopwood Consulting is going to be preparing Year 11 for their work experience. Huge thanks to Miss Heard for all the organisation she has undertaken to make this a success – I wish Year 11 well for next week, I am sure they will gain both a valuable insight into the world of work, and also the importance of making the most of their last year here at the College. I would also like to thank Mr Batstone, Mrs Stokes and Miss Grant for the work they put into preparing their presentations for the governors last night, which went very well. Tomorrow (Saturday) I am off to the Independent Schools’ Association academic policy meeting, while here at school the OSA rounders match will be taking place. Looking ahead, of particular interest to parents is the Parents’ Association AGM next Thursday evening; please do come along and find out more! |
