I wanted to start this week’s blog by saying how proud I am of Year 11, who have had an excellent week on work experience. I did some of the visits myself and have two more to do at the time of writing.

The College has now firmly settled back in and, although improvement work continues on the main school building, I am pleased to say this is happening with virtually no disruption to the working life of the College.

The first week is flying by and I have been delighted with how well everyone has settled back into the routine. I would esepcially like to welcome our new staff and pupils (including the two pupils who joined us during this week), everyone seems to be finding their way around and getting on with their work well.

Visitors to the College over the summer will have seen that there has been a hive of activity during this time, most significantly with refurbishment work taking place on the south side of the main house.
