On the 27 of January 2010 the Under 13 B’s took on and conquered Sompting Abbotts. The team set off heads high and they remained high even though we conceded early on during the game. After that we came back strongly, though not scoring during the first half. 5 nil down but we came back full-force being led by Henry Ebdell to the pitch and scored reasonably quickly with the help of Elliot Le-Warde and Henry Ebdell scoring a fantastic conversion. After that, Sompting Abbotts came back quickly and scored. The score was 12-7 with 15 minutes to go; now with fresh legs in the scrum of George Prosser and Zack Knee swapping with William Lee now in the backs. After that, they got the ball and cleared it back to the captain and full back Rowan Southall who went on a fantastic run bring us right to their line. Scrum down with a fantastically quick hook from Josh Bird (Pack Leader) the ball was out Harry Phillips passed it to Zack Knee who scored. All the eyes were on Henry as we were currently equal 12-12. He scored another fantastic conversion bring us to the final score, Shoreham College 14 Sompting Abbotts 12. Well done to the whole team on a great win in the dying moments!!
