Shoreham College junior pupils celebrated this exciting literary event by dressing up as their favourite book characters.
These included Pippi Longstocking, The Artful Dodger, Horrid Henry, Bugsy Malone, Frankenstein, Hermione Granger and Hannah Montana.
In addition, the staff led morning assembly by re enacting well known fairy tales retold in the words of Roald Dahl with Mr Choate as Goldilocks and Mr Harris as Red Riding Hood.
In addition parents and staff contributed to an anthology of poems and Steyning book shop helped us to run our annual book fayre.
