A busy afternoon to say the least!!!
The Under 9’s had a little game against Seaford College. Whilst still on a high from winning last week, somehow Seaford proved rather good at scoring goals! Their tried their hardest, but it was not to be a victory this afternoon.
The Under 11’s had to work hard to maintain a lead over Seaford in their match. I believe it was a pretty close game and could have gone either way. The team is not one to be defeated and they pushed hard to keep the lead to the end and come away with a victory. Well done!!
The Under 12’s had a great game. It was a little rusty at first, but they soon got into the swing of things and realised that the match could be theirs with a bit of extra effort put in. This is what they did, and our shooters; Roseanne Milward and Millie Foreman were on terrific form. Our centre Olivia Watts was amazing, and I really struggled to pick out a player of the match this afternoon. They were all fabulous.
The Under 13’s had a really, really tough afternoon! They played a very powerful and tall team, it was a bit too much really!! However I was extremely impressed and proud with the way they dealt with it. Once they knew there wasn’t a chance, they played their hearts out to the bitter end, changing positions and came away with a great experience of playing such a strong team. Well Done.
