At last, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful afternoon at Shoreham for the Under 10 match against Windlesham School. All the girls were excited to be playing and they have been working very hard in their training sessions after school.

We won the toss and chose to take the first centre. The teams quickly settled into the match and the first half saw both the Shoreham and Windlesham  teams with equal possession of the ball. Maia Marston and Katherine Miles both scored some wonderful goals and by half time we were leading 3-1.  I felt that more marking would enhance our game and give us more possession of the ball and this proved to be the case. Georgina Tugwell and Nina Anderson-Scott were superb defenders supported by Isobel Manson and Charlotte Geary.  Chloe Ainsworth ran her heart out around the court as Centre supported by Eleanor Corbett. All the girls marked wonderfully well, getting the ball back, scoring more goals and securing us a wonderful victory in the end. Congratulations to you all.
