The Under 11’s went to Windlesham School for their match on Wednesday. It was a bitterly cold afternoon and the wind was raw. When we arrived we really had to warm up quickly so we could feel our hands!

The match was a wonderful game. Both teams worked so hard and it was all very tense and exciting. Our centre, LILY SIMON was racing up and down the court, supported by OLIVIA KELSEY and ASHLEIGH PHIPPS. Our defenders, EMILY PROSSER AND  CHLOE STEARNS worked so hard and progressed superbly as the match went on.  Our shooters RACHEL MUNDAY and HANNAH GRIFFITHS struck up a magnificent partnership and both were on fire scoring the goals.  It was pretty even scoring right up to the final quarter , these girls do make me wait!!. We were leading by 1 goal in the last 10 minutes, the match was very tense, the shooters shot every goal going for them and  we came away with a stunning victory. Well done to you all.
