The Under 14's and Under 15's had a match against Greenfields for the first time. It has been a couple of years since Shoreham have played them, so it was good to see them again.

It was a pretty blustery day, so the shooting on both sides took a bit of getting used to! However, as usual the Under 15's, all fully fit this week, began in their usual determined fashion, however Greenfields really challenged us and we found ourselves 2 goals down at half-time. After a coach chat, they came back on fire and turned the whole game around! Everyone played brilliantly and went on to victory in the end. Phew!!

The Under 14's were well challenged by Greenfields and had to really step up their skills in order to keep one step ahead of the game. Lexi Pickett had a nasty fall and had to come out of the game. I have to commend Hannah Peirce for stepping in as shooter, she got into the match straight away and didn't look back. The match got a little fractious in the middle, but the Shoreham girls held their own and this in the end won them the match.
