These Netball matches started off in nice dry weather, but looming on the horizon looked like one very nasty black cloud and for the first time ever we had to stop play three quarters of the way through the match due to the biggest downpour!! Never mind early tea was much appreciated!!

The Under 11's started their match in their usual way, which is every match is to be given our all!! They took control of the match from the first whistle and all the girls contributed to a great game, including the Broadwater girls. The shooters (Amelia Ritchie and Jasmine Milward)were on excellent form for Shoreham, but a special mention goes to Sophie Rantzau Anderson for her excellent performance, especially as it was her old school only a year ago! Well Done to everyone for contributing to the match.

The Under 13's had a fantastic warm up session then sadly made a catalogue of errors in the first quarter that gave Broadwater a very comfortable lead, which was hard to catch up with. However with a few changes and the girls determined to step up their performance, we played very much better after this quarter and the match was much more even. Although we never quite caught up with the score (we certainly tried scoring, but the ball refused to go down the net!!), the match greatly improved until rain forced us to stop the match. I look forward to a re-match next term!
