19th November 2009 - U9 & U10 Netball v Broadwater Manor

The Under 9’s had their first ever away game against Broadwater and the Under 10’s went over for a game too.

The Under 9’s were very geared up to try their hardest and although Broadwater scored lots of goals, it did not deter them (except one) and Miss Heard and I were very proud of their efforts and determination. We did not manage to score any goals in this game, but I felt it was tremendous experience for them and hopefully we can put this experience into our future games. Well done to you all.

Player of the Game: Chloe Ainsworth

The Under 10’s had a great game and at the start it was a pretty even match. As the game went on, I felt our marking skills let us down a bit (something we will be working on) and hence they were unmarked and got more control of the ball. However I was not disappointed, it’s all about taking part and doing our best. Hannah Griffiths and Emily Ockenden were fantastic at the attack end and I have to award Player of the Match to them both for their partnership. Well done to you all even though we came away defeated, it was a good game.

Final Score: Shoreham College 4 – Broadwater 9

Players Of The Match: Hannah Griffiths And Emily Ockenden.
