On my return from Lancing Prep, The Under 12’s had a match against the Towers at Shoreham in the Sports Hall.  When I arrived I saw that the team were losing! Whilst the Towers are a very strong side, I knew the girls could seriously step up a gear! Miss Heard and I had a good chat with them at the half time stage and then there was no looking back.

Amy Wedge a centre was flying all over the court, the defenders, Ella Scammell and Georgina Liley worked superbly to reclaim the ball, Gabriella Jones, Lucie Street and Sophie Rantzau Anderson were terrifc wings and the shooters Jasmine Milward and Amelia Ritchie just scored all the goals they could.  I think that because they began to mark better, we began to control the ball and the match.

In the end the Towers couldn’t catch us up and we ended up turning the match around and coming away with a superb victory.
