The Under 16’s had their first netball match this term against the Towers. It is some while since they had their last match and they were very ready for a game.  The Towers are a particularly strong side, so it was a real challenge for them.

The first quarter was a bit of a shock to their system and they suddenly found themselves down 9-5.  I gave them a serious talk of defending, marking and stepping up a gear, which is precisely what they did, they were so determined to succeed.  We inched our way back to level the score and for the rest of the match, all the girls were on fire and never more than one goal less than the Towers.  Into the last minute the scores were level, we had the opportunity to clinch a victory, but I think nerves got the better of us!!!  What a match and all the team were A-MA-ZING!!!!!
