A trip to the Fortune Theatre has served as an excellent revision aid for Y11s as we approach the mock exams next term.

Science Live

On Monday 27th January, Year 11 were taken to the GCSE Science Live event at the Brighton Dome. The event takes place nationwide and gives GCSE students the opportunity to listen to five of Britain’s leading scientists who are all working in cutting edge science research.

This term Y9 and 10 have been fortunate enough to have two guest speakers come in to talk about their careers. 

The Senior Challenge - Creation

Was it the Big Bang? Did God really create the world in 6 days? Did the heavens and the earth hatch into existence from an 18,000 year old egg? The latest senior challenge explored the ultimate question 'How was the world created?'

Shoreham College Remembers Them

Shoreham College gathered on Monday afternoon to mark the fallen in a moving act of remembrance. Held every year in honour of the former pupils who gave their lives in defence of the country, it was well attended by all year 7 and upward pupils, parents, grandparents and staff.

Johnny Depp to Duke Ellington

To chase away any autumnal blues, the annual Michaelmas Concert at Shoreham College started with a blast from the Pirates of the Caribbean, from the combined orchestra. The tune 'He's a Pirate' brought us upbeat rum-spiced images of Johnny Depp.
