U11s Win Bronze at National ISA Netball Championships

“They played their hearts out!” Mrs Liley, Sports Coach at Shoreham College enthused, “There are no words to convey how proud I was of their performance.”

After a long journey from Brighton to York, the girls had six pool games to play in hot and humid weather. They fought hard to win them all, coming top of their group, qualifying for the cup knockout and given a bye straight through to the semi-finals!

The semi-final proved a difficult match and the team conceded the first match of the day. Undeterred, the girls were determined to return home with a medal. In the play-off for third place, they summoned every last ounce of energy and were rewarded by winning the match 8-6!

A truly amazing day, their team spirit, support for each other and performance was magnificent.

A special thank you to all the parents for their support and traveling so far and huge thank you to Mr Edlin for being there every step of the way. Everyone at Shoreham College is immensely proud of the team.

Congratulations to Eloise, Eva, Maddie, Nina, Charlotte, Bo-Lily, Leia, and Elsie. You are one awesome team girls!
