Dear Parents

History Pageant 

The College production promises to be a little different this year!  The History and Drama departments of the College have joined together and are organising a History Pageant on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th June to be set in and around the College featuring a cast of famous historical characters.  They will be brought to life in a series of mini plays performed at a feast held in the Lewis Hall.

The evening begins at 6.30pm as guests make their way to the ‘quad’ and witness the skills of jugglers, acrobats and singers.  Watch out for special guest appearances from some of the great figures from the past.  At 7pm the audience will be welcomed in to the Lewis Hall by our hostess for the evening, Ms. Rawlings, cast as History itself!  Seated at tables the audience can enjoy the buffet food while watching seven mini plays performed by pupils from Year 7 to Year 10.

Tickets are available from the School Office and are priced at only £10.00 for adults or £5.00 for children and include the buffet food.  No tickets will be available at the door.  All profits from the evening will go to Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice.  The plays are relatively short with no interval and should be finished by 8.45pm.

Prior to the performance a bar will be available in the quadrangle at the back of the Lewis Hall (weather permitting), which has been kindly organised by the Parents’ Association. ‘Doors’ will open at 6.30pm each night and seating will be unreserved.
