12th February 2008 - Under 14 Rugby Tournament at Worthing RFC

U14 Rugby

A Glorious Day for Rugby, the Sun was out and the Team was ready to play!! Firstly, a massive congratulations to ALL the players, their commitment and behaviour were exceptional throughout the afternoon.

U14 Rugby

Nine teams from Sussex entered the competition and were split into three Pools of three teams. We were put in Pool B with St Andrews and Chatsmore, played and lost our first match to St Andrews. After a well earned team talk we went into battle against Chatsmore and played some excellent Rugby and showed how effective we are at supporting the ball-carrier and moving the ball wide.

U14 Rugby

Having won one and lost one we qualified for the Vase Competition. This is a combination of the three Schools who came second in their Pool. We convincingly beat Kings Manor and Worthing High to win.

U14 Rugby

Although we came home with no Trophies, the moral victory is there ready for the Under 14 Rugby League which is due to start after half-term.
