15th February 2008 - Under 16 Rugby V Steyning Grammar - AWAY

U16 Rugby

The Under 16 boys were in sporting action for the 3rd week in a row last Friday. This time, it was a game of rugby against Steyning Grammar. This was their first game of rugby together as a whole year group and they were well beaten by the well drilled Steyning team. They played with a great deal of spirit but were unable to break through the opposition's defenses to score a try. The only 3 points they did score came from a penalty kick scored by Joachim Rantzau early in the second half.

There were notable performances from Richard Redfern, Harry Chatfield and Benjamin Hickey but man of the match was without a doubt Max Goddart-Brown who played some splendid rugby and showed true determination.
