The team got off to a great start with some early Tries from Chris Martin and Sam Hotston-Tine. The Forwards (Joe Pearson, Joe Sharpe, Blake Barling and Noah Ridgeway-Brown) supported the ball-carriers well and worked very hard to win the ball back in the Scrums, Rucks and Mauls. By working hard as a team, Chris Martin could get the ball to Thomas Corbett who scored a great Try in the corner.

The second half was much closer and Broadwater Manor started to tackle us and stop our attack. There were also more scrums and lineout in the second half which gave us an opportunity to set up driving Mauls, get over the line and score. Thomas Corbett and Sam Hotston-Tine both tackled really hard throughout the Match and didn’t let any of the Broadwater players through.

Overall, Great fun, Great Rugby and a Great learning experience for the Under 9 Team. Very well done to all the players.
