The Under 11's played 2 matches against Lavant House, their A and B teams. It was a shame that we played the A team first, as after an hour in the mini bus it took them time to get into the game. They were very sleepy in this match and the first half didn't produce their best performance. At half time, losing badly, we had a chat together and decided to start again!! They then stepped up a gear (or two!) and began to really perform.

What was so good to see, was the fact they didn't let the score affect them and that they pulled themselves together so quickly and so well to get back into the game. Sadly this match was a heavy defeat, but it really warmed them up for the second match.

This was a much more evenly match game and the team worked really hard together. It was lovely to see all the Year 6 girls take part and I must mention Billie Hall who has made such progress since starting Shoreham College. The shooters, Charlotte Allcock and Olivia Foley played brilliantly, scoring some outstanding goals. Georgia Jones and Rebecca Tennant also played superbly.

This was a much more enjoyable match and the team played with real determination to end the season on a high.
