The Under 11’s played a triangular match with these two schools. It was a bitterly cold afternoon and I know they struggled as the afternoon went on!

Their first match against Newlands was a pretty even match with the ball being passed up and down the court consistently throughout. It was really down to the shooters to convert the goals. Luckily our clever shooters were on form this afternoon and Roseanne Milward and Millie Foreman did brilliantly to win the match for the team. Everyone played really well and they had a successful win.

Later in the afternoon we played Sion. They are a strong team and we did our level best, but having had a break, the girls were rather cold and struggled to get going in this match a bit. However they continued to play well and I was proud of them, even though we lost this match 6-2
