The U16’s had asked if they may play a couple of matches as a number of them are still really keen which is lovely to see. Lingfield had agreed to a match and so we set forth. We had not played them before and despite it being a fair distance, we all had (I hope) a lovely afternoon. Although the teams were fairly evenly matched, to my relief, we had one of those afternoons when the poor shooters just couldn’t get to grips with using the other schools ball and scoring goals. Believe me they tried!! So in all honesty having lost the match 11-2 it doesn’t really reflect the game as they performed really well and should be proud that they can still play a high standard of Netball. Let’s wait for the re-match!
