Hugh Curtis - 1915 – 2008
Hugh Curtis was a Rodney Housemaster from 1954 to 1979. He taught P.E. and later, General Science and Physics. Finally, he became Director of Music and Master of the Choristers. He retired in 1979. After retiring however, he was never far from the College and he continued to offer support on every possible occasion. He was Vice Provost of the College and Vice President of the OSA. He was often in school to watch sports fixtures and take photographs. Hugh passed away in October 2008, at the grand old age of 93 and the College lost one of its greatest supporters.
