Quiz Night Delight

Quiz Night

Last week, parents, guests and teachers once again teamed up to pit their wits against each other and Mr Harvey’s brain teasers in the Shoreham College Parents’ Association’s annual fundraiser quiz night. The aim of the evening is to enjoy some relaxing fun, nibbling on a ploughman’s lunch with a glass of wine or such, whilst giving the SCPA some of your hard earned cash that will be employed for charitable or school services.

2015 Winter Fayre

Quiz Night

The SCPA would like to thank everybody who once again helped make our annual winter fayre such a lovely day. Despite the terrible weather a number of visitors were able to join us and make it such a success. All were very welcome and we hope you all enjoyed the variety of stalls available.

Thank you to everyone who donated prizes to the raffle. They were very generous offers and each gift donation helps considerably to boost our overall takings as the reputation of our prizes grows.

Charity Cycling Challenge - 2013

Around £4,000 has been raised for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice from the latest Downs Link Challenge. The event, organised by the Shoreham College Parents’ Association and supported by Brighton Honda and Quest Adventure, took place on Saturday 11th May with over 200 people cycling or walking between 5 and 30 miles from Bramber to Christ's Hospital and back. Having raised £45,000 for Chestnut Tree House over the previous six years, we are hoping that total will now be pushed towards £50,000.
