The Under 14 A played a very impressive match against Lewes Old Grammar. They were a little daunted at the beginning as they know they were big hockey players, they need not have worried! We won the toss and elected to field. Amy Lovelidge (bowler) Ashleigh Kirby (backstop) and Amy Wootton (1 st post) had been practising hard on the throwing and catching, which truly paid off, they were brilliant! Zoe Martin also did a wonderful job at 2 nd post and Katherine Godfray at 2 nd deep supported by Amber Morgan.

Our batting was also on excellent form this afternoon with Ashligh Kirby being the lead scorer, followed by Zoe Martin. Whilst the Lewes girls gave us a run for our money and we were in command of the match and won by a comfortable margin. Well Done to all the team!
