The Under 11’s are always raring to go, and with barely any practice being the first week back, I decided a good way to start was to play a fixture and see where the land lies within the team positions.

We made an excellent start and were put into field first. Tremendous bowling from Jasmine Milward and backstop Amy Wedge. The Towers had a couple of very good hitters, but a couple of brilliant catches by Georgina Liley (one being a low one handed ball.. awesome!) and Amelia Ritchie put us in a good lead at half time. However the Towers fielded really well in the second half and began to close the gap, although Amelia was on amazing hitting form and was the leading hitter of the match. We held our nerve and although the match ended up being very close, it was a cracking game in which we came away with a win.
