A really interesting afternoon, as Sompting were bringing one team of combined aged groups, so I decided to mix up half of the U13 and U11’s into two teams.  They all played so well together and really enhanced their performance.

The first team got into their game very quickly and were hitting the ball all over the place, there was no stopping them! They managed to notch up 11 ½  rounders in the first innings. As for their fielding they could not have performed better, they managed to get them all out before time was up and scored ½ a rounder.

The second team came into the second innings and Sompting changed a few positions around and the match became much closer for them.  Jasmine Milward, Amy Wedge and Sophie Rantzau-Anderson was brilliant bowler, backstop and 1^st post, getting a number out in this way.  Renee Breckall also had a great game, both batting and fielding. Katie Thomas at 3^rd deep has really stepped up her performance and did a cracking job in her postion getting a couple out too.

All in all a great afternoon with some superb performance from all the girls. Well Done.
