As last term’s mini-tennis club proved so popular with Year 3 & 4, we decided to arrange a visit to introduce the children to a tennis club and hopefully stimulate their interest in playing more tennis outside of school.

West Worthing Tennis Club has been established a long time and has an excellent junior tennis coaching programme with excellent indoor and outdoor tennis facilities.

During the afternoon the pupils were taught tactics on winning points and were then paired up against each other and pupils from Sompting Abbott’s to play points and put their new tactics into practise.
