Year 3 are continuing their learning with the help of chocolate. This week they explored soil layers by creating their own edible models. From topsoil to bedrock, every layer was built (and enjoyed) with plenty of excitement and curiosity.

Outstanding Performances at the ISA National Swimming Championships Last week, nine pupils from our college travelled to the iconic Olympic Park in London to compete at the ISA National Swimming Championships, held in the prestigious National Aquatic Centre. All of our swimmers earned their place at the event after impressing at the regional gala earlier this term, and they rose to the challenge of competing against some of the strongest school-aged ISA swimmers in the country. The atmosphere was electric, and our swimmers put in some superb performances throughout the day. Two of our athletes secured well-deserved medals. Harry B (Year 7) enjoyed an exceptional day in the pool, coming away with three bronze medals. He claimed two individual bronzes in the 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly, showcasing both speed and skill in fiercely contested races. Harry then added a third bronze as part of the 4 × 50m freestyle relay, rounding off an impressive medal haul. Max A (Year 8) also made the podium, earning a bronze medal for his contribution to the Year 8, 4 × 50m freestyle relay. His strong swim helped secure the team’s place among the national top three. A huge well done to all nine pupils who represented the college with determination, sportsmanship, and pride. Their hard work and positive attitude were a credit to the school at one of the country’s most prestigious swimming venues. #isasport #isaswimming #isaswimming2025 #isaswimmingnationals

Last week, Year 11 GCSE RS pupils delivered a lesson to pupils in the Junior School on Baptism, where they taught Year 6 about the purpose of a baptism and the symbolism of it. A huge well done and thank you to Gilby, Taqwa, Rafee and Ruben for their enthusiasm and leadership and to Year 6 for their participation and engagement with the lesson!
