The Year 7 to 9 cross-country team had a super afternoon at the Worthing District School’s competition.
There were some notable performances from Eden and Gino, both in Year 8 who finished 10th in their respective races; Thomas, in Year 7, who finished 2nd overall, followed closely by his teammates Bodee, Ruben, and Ben who all finished inside the top 20, giving them a very impressive, low team score of 48.
Congratulations to all our runners yesterday, some super running around a tough course.
With over 477 schools around the country entering and only 40 prizes available, a huge congratulations to Sophia in Year 10 for her winning entry in the 2023 Spirited Arts Competition judged by the National Association of Religious Education. There was an amazing amount of leaves given out in the Celebration Assembly today. Well done to Darcey, Hannah, Amber, Georgia, Teddie, Isobel, Raven, Ari, Lucas and Michael for all their hard work to earn their leaves.
Year 1 had a brilliant time on their visit to Steyning Museum. They loved investigating the wide range of old and new toys, behaved beautifully, and asked some really thoughtful questions. They enjoyed learning what old toys were like and what they were made of. We even got to see a very old teddy bear that was over 100 years old!
Winning Wednesday!
Many congratulations to the U13A and B netball teams who took both victories yesterday. Excellent teamwork and adaptability throughout the squads were a joy to work with.
