Thank you to all the pupils, parents, and staff who came out to help at the Shoreham College water station for the Brighton half-marathon on Sunday. A rewarding but very cold day!
And a special shout-out to Mr Ritchie for organising it.
Year 6 helped manage the Forest School recently by removing bindweed from the edges. After some great activities, they were rewarded with hot buttered toast cooked on the open fire.
After posting all our lovely Iceland trip photos last week we were reminded that we never uploaded an album of Ski trip photos. Many apologies for that and here they are now!
Y10 Business Studies pupils have been learning about production processes. In today's lesson, they did an experiment to identify the advantages and disadvantages of flow production (assembly line) and job production (meeting the specific requirements of the customer). The flow production group became very efficient and produced 13 identical cars whereas the job production group made fewer cars (10) but each was unique with various additional features and colour schemes.
It was so lovely to see so many children earn blossoms for our Tree of Achievement this week. Well done to Huxley, Teddie, Michael, Etienne, Henry, Rossi, Nell, Charlotte, Milly, Nancy and Leo - great work.
