Well done to all our junior runners who travelled to Radnor House in Sevenoaks for the Independent Schools Association’s Regional Junior Cross-country Championships. All enjoyed a fabulous afternoon running a challenging woodland course around Radnor beautiful grounds.
This weeks forest school activities, lessons on survival and how to light a fire. The pupils learn about the three things needed for a fire, fuel, oxygen and heat. They collected sticks which were the size of match sticks, pencil and thumb thick and then used flint and steels to try and strike a spark.
On Monday our senior athletes travelled to the Duke of Kent School to compete in the London South Regional Cross-country Championships. Athletes from Years 7 to 10 took part in races of up to fifty runners. Runners who finished inside the top 10 will be invited to represent the London South Region at the up coming National event, at Worksop College on the 4th March.
Our qualifying runners were, Italia 7th, Bodee 8th, Eden 4th, Ella 7th, Ruben 10th, James 9th, Alice in 7th and Sophie in 8th.

The whole of Shoreham College was out in force to cheer on their respective Houses in the annual Pancake Scramble this morning.
Congratulations go to the triumphant winners Casper, Amber, Lila and Max from Rodney House, who won £20 for collecting a whopping 1.7kg of pancake.
