7A1 enjoyed making and playing some board games today in their last Spanish lesson of the year. It was a really enjoyable way to revisit all the work we've done since September. After half-term we are swapping to French and we will be gearing up to celebrate the Paris Olympics!
Despite the early start, we had the most amazing morning! From beautiful sunrises to walking on a glacier. A day our pupils and staff will never forget!
Pupils in Y8 have been learning about the Five Pillars of Islam. For prep, pupils have been working hard to create a piece of work to demonstrate their learning of the pillars using what they learn in lessons as well as extra research at home. Here are some examples of their amazing work
The teachers and pupils started their day at a geothermal powerplant learning about sustainable energy in Iceland. They then headed off to the Secret Lagoon for a dip. The day ended with a fast-paced Golden Cirlce tour where everyone walked between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. What a day!
