Y10 Business Studies pupils have been learning about production processes. In today's lesson, they did an experiment to identify the advantages and disadvantages of flow production (assembly line) and job production (meeting the specific requirements of the customer). The flow production group became very efficient and produced 13 identical cars whereas the job production group made fewer cars (10) but each was unique with various additional features and colour schemes.
