Little Lions and Reception have loved being back in Forest School: making dens, playing hide and seek, using the hammock, crafting, and drinking hot chocolate, to name just a few activities. It may have been a chilly start to the term but it hasn’t stopped us having fun!
Year 2 has started a new science topic – Everyday Materials.
They learned all about absorbency during the experiment Mopping Up; which involved using skills including making predictions, discussing how to make the test fair, using a pipette, and recording results.
In the build-up to entering the National cookery competition the Tunnock’s Teacake Challenge, we are building up and learning new presentation skills.
Y9 Food Styling Club had ago at spun sugar for the first time. Quite tricky at first, but they soon got the hang of it!
Well done this week to Forrest, Millie, Rem, Joe, Etienne, Lottie and Amber for receiving blossoms for the Tree of Achievement this week. A super effort.
