Shoreham College proudly hosted an invitational cross-country running event. We welcomed athletes from St. Nicolas and St. Mary in Shoreham, and Lancing Prep Worthing in the Under 8 and Under 9 categories. All runners enjoyed an exciting afternoon of competition.
Congratulations to the Year 8 Indoor athletics team who took part in the Southern Area Partnership, competing in indoor field events including the standing long jump, triple jump, and high jump. There were also individual and team track events, including the 8-lap Paarlauf.
Both the boys’ and the girls’ teams managed to finish in 4th place out of 9 competing teams in the southern area partnership; a respectable finish for our first outing at this event for many years. Well done everyone.
6Ba in the forest school last week with Mr Harris and Max trying to light the fire. Looks like they did a good job in the end, and they certainly needed it!
