Congratulations to the Year 8 Indoor athletics team who took part in the Southern Area Partnership, competing in indoor field events including the standing long jump, triple jump, and high jump. There were also individual and team track events, including the 8-lap Paarlauf.
Both the boys’ and the girls’ teams managed to finish in 4th place out of 9 competing teams in the southern area partnership; a respectable finish for our first outing at this event for many years. Well done everyone.
6Ba in the forest school last week with Mr Harris and Max trying to light the fire. Looks like they did a good job in the end, and they certainly needed it!
After a restful festive period, our pupils have hit the ground running, literally! This week sees the start of the inter-house cross-country championships. Athletes from all year groups complete the course to earn valuable house points to go towards the all-important trophies at the end of the year. Good luck to all our athletes.
