Harvest Festival never fails to deliver at Shoreham College. Last week the Junior pupils dazzled with more wonderful artwork, beautiful poetry and truly mind-blowing vegetable heads; as well as donating generously to the Emmaus Centre.
The Senior school also had a collection that was gratefully received by ‘Off the Fence”.
To continue learning about where our food comes from and how we can maintain a healthy lifestyle, Reception and Little Lions visited the Greengrocers in Southwick Square. We looked at the variety of different fruits and vegetables there and then bought some to have a taste test in the classroom. Delicious!
What a glorious Friday afternoon in the forest. The autumn sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for Y6 to develop their batoning and sawing. Fuelled by 'forest-made' garlic bread, hot chocolate, and smores, what a way to end the week.
Congratulations to the U12B football team who were victorious in their match away to Dorset House earlier this week. A fantastic team performance. Player of the match went to Luke GJ for his influential performance both in and out of goal.
Milly finished sewing her personalised napkin in Sewing Club. She learnt how to thread a needle, tie a knot, cast off, running stitch and how to fold and sew a hem. What a great job Milly.
