Year 1 had an amazing visit to Brighton City Airport yesterday and learned a lot about the history of the airport and the terminal building. They had the opportunity to visit the hangers and saw airplanes, gyrocopters and helicopters. A highlight was watching a pilot in the helicopter simulator take off and fly towards Shoreham College. #brightoncityairport
Huge Congratulations to our Cross Country Stars!
We are incredibly proud of Gino W, Ollie D, and Freya P for their outstanding performance at the ISA National Cross Country Finals at Himley Hall last weekend.
Competing at a national level is a fantastic achievement, and all three of our runners represented us with grit, determination, and a real sense of pride.
A massive well done to Gino W, who delivered a stellar performance to finish in the top 10 in the highly competitive U14 age group.
Congratulations to you all on such a brilliant season. The hard work has truly paid off.
The U15 girls’ football team have been competing in the district league this term. Last week began on a high with an impressive 2–0 victory against Steyning. However, yesterday they faced a tough defeat to Davison.
At half-time, Shoreham were 2–1 down, but they showed great determination in the second half. An equaliser looked certain, only to be denied by the post. Unfortunately, a late goal in the final two minutes sealed the result.
Players of the Match were Hannah and Lily for their outstanding leadership in midfield and defence. Well done to all who played for demonstrating resilience and commitment throughout the game.
Year 9 Rugby - UNBEATEN RUN CONTINUES!
What a performance. Our Year 9s kept their perfect league record intact with a dominant display of rugby at home. Under the glorious sunshine, Shoreham College went head-to-head with a tough Durrington High School side in what was an excellent contest from the first whistle to the last.
The chemistry on the field was electric, with some high-level team play leading to a flurry of magnificent tries.
Final Score: Shoreham College 41 - 12 Durrington High School
Man of the Match: Hugo P
Well done to Hugo P, who put on an absolute show stopping performance today. Hugo was everywhere, earning his MOTM honours for a tenacious effort that included:
• Commanding the high ball with total confidence.
• Carrying the ball like a raging bull.
• Hitting like a brick wall in every tackle.
Well done to the entire squad for their hard work and sportsmanship.
🎉 A huge thank you to our amazing Year 5 & 6 Say Something Ambassadors! They delivered an inspiring assembly to Key Stage 2 on the power of kindness and “paying it forward.” 🌟
They showed how even small acts can create a ripple effect, spreading positivity throughout our school community. As ambassadors, they champion a culture of safety, inclusion, and respect, inspiring everyone to make our school a brighter, kinder place! 💛

We are very happy to share the recent successes of two of our year 6 pupils. On Saturday, Monty ran the Brighton Half Marathon Children’s race. And, on Sunday after helping at the drinks station, Rapha attended an awards afternoon receiving a number of medals for swimming; 2nd place silver for U12’s 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke,100m IM and for total points scored. Both are pictured showing off their wins. Well done to you both!
