As part of their history topic on Castles, Year 6 visited Bramber castle earlier in the week. Using the display boards and their observational skills, the Year 6 pupils answered questions and pondered the question why a castle was built there in the first place. The challenge of the morning was climbing the steep hill called a motte in the middle of the ruins. The weather was lovely and they all had a great time. #brambercastle
After spending time designing them, Year 6 used clay to make dragon eyes. Some spectacular designs were created, which will look even more impressive when painted!
In KS2 Mindfulness Club we recycled the left over tissue paper squares from KS1 Art Club and made Sun Catchers to hang on the window. All whilst listening to some mindful, relaxing music 🧘♀️
