Congratulations to sports scholar Gino in Year 9 who represented Sussex at the South East Schools, Inter County Cross Country competition in Newbery this weekend. Gino was the 11th Sussex runner to cross the line. Gino will be in action again this Friday, competing at the ISA Cross Country regional qualifiers at the Duke of Kent School. Well done Gino.
Our Year 6 D&T Club has been working hard creating their own tic-tac-toe games! While waiting for the oil finish to dry, Zara and Freddie got creative and crafted an amazing super snake to celebrate Chinese New Year. Don’t they look fantastic? #CreativeKids #ChineseNewYear #DTClub
Our doors are open and we hope to see you all very shortly. If you haven’t already booked, don’t worry, you can just turn up, we are accepting visitors until 11am for tours, and close at 12 noon.
Wow, Little Lions, Reception and Year 2 loved celebrating Chinese New Year.
So many new things for them to explore; including enjoying trying different Chinese food and teas, taking part in a dragon dance around the College, creating artwork using handprints of the Snake, listening to the story “Dragons in the City and eating Year of the Snake cupcakes. They all left for home excitedly clutching their lucky red envelopes and fortune cookie!

Well done to the Year 7 rugby team who travelled to Downlands School in Hassocks. In very wet, muddy conditions, the boys battled hard against some tough opposition. They gained some much-needed match experience in a training game that was played for 20 minutes each way. There were notable performances from Bowie, team captain and lead try scorer. Max arrived at every tackle to clear out the rucks; Casper and Christopher made some big tackles and Eddie played a super game at scrum half. Well done to the whole team and thank you to #downlandsschoolhassocks for hosting us for the game.
