After a lifetime of growing her hair, Danae in Y2 heard about the Little Princess Trust and decided to cut it and donate it to the charity.
Her hair will now be made into a wig for a child or young person who has lost their hair through cancer treatment.
What a wonderful caring thing to do Danae, we are all very proud of you at Shoreham College, (and your new shorter haircut looks lovely!)

The U13 netball teams ventured to Davison this week. It was a very close encounter for the A team, where resilience, adaptability and collaboration lead to a narrow defeat. The B team demonstrated motivation and development in their performance as the game progressed. Well done to all.
Thank you to all the local children who visited and enjoyed our Sharing Shoreham science workshop – Colourful Chemistry - at the end of half-term.
Our Crest Club pupils did a great job alongside Mrs Mardon, helping the Year 3s and 4s with their experiments making test-tube rainbows!
Reception has been fully embracing spooky season over the last 2 weeks. We created a spooky cave in our role-play area, matched pumpkin words and pictures, counted out ghosts and spiders onto ten frames, hammered golf tees into a pumpkin, and even had a mini Halloween party with Little Lions where we dressed up and did some potion experiments using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar! We managed to fit Halloween into just about every part of the curriculum and the children have loved it!
Year 2 has had enjoyed a half-term learning all about the Great Fire of London. They found out how, when, where, and why the fire started. They discovered how the fire spread and how long it burned. When learning about Samuel Pepys, they found out all about the diary he wrote and how important it was. They made bread, clay boats and a highlight was watching their model houses burn.
