We held a gingerbread decorating competition where pupils were invited to either bake their own gingerbread or use a kit, then decorate it using their creativity and imagination. Entries were judged on originality, decoration skills, and techniques used. All creations were donated to this term’s charity, Off The Fence.
First place: Sophie – Sophie impressed us with her outstanding decoration skills and imagination. Her design resembled an Alpine cabin, complete with a shredded-wheat roof. It showed fantastic creativity and a high level of skill.
Second place (joint): Ramsey and Ronnie – we loved their colourful sweet decorations and beautifully iced wreath.
Third place: Isla and Lola – working together, they created a wonderfully imaginative theme. They baked their own gingerbread from scratch and showcased many of the skills learned in the school’s cooking club.
Well done to everyone who took part —enjoy your gingerbread!
The last day of term saw the whole school take part in the Santa Fun Run. As you can see from the photos, everyone did indeed have great fun!
Money raised so far is £635 and for Off the Fence, a charity chosen by the pupils themselves. Thank you for everyone for taking part and donating.
Happy Christmas!
Junior School Inter-House Netball
Our Year 3, 4, and 5 students brought incredible house spirit to yesterday’s inter-house netball competition.
Congratulations to Rodney and Raleigh House for finishing as joint 1st place winners.
Well done to all our players for giving it their best.
During KS2 Mindfulness, pupils embraced the Christmas season by crafting decorative paper chains and stars using a variety of festive wrapping papers. 🎅
