🌿 A wonderful morning at Stay & Play! 🌿
We loved welcoming local families into Shoreham College this morning for our free half-termly Stay & Play.
Our little visitors got stuck into a fun Forest School session, with plenty of exploring, playing and discovering in the great outdoors.
After all that activity, there was time to relax with a cup of tea, squash and a biscuits, served by our wonderful Year 6 helpers! ☕🍪
It was lovely to see our school full of laughter, play and new faces. We’re proud to be part of the local community and love opening our doors each half term to give local families the chance to come together, have fun and make memories. 💚
Thank you to everyone who joined us - we can’t wait to welcome you back for our next Stay & Play!

⚽ U11 Girls Take Silver at ISA Football Festival! 🥈
What a tournament our U11 girls had at the ISA Football Festival at LVS Ascot on Tuesday!
After a fantastic run through the tournament, the team faced a penalty shoot-out to decide their semi-final place. Every player stepped up to take a penalty in an incredible display of courage and teamwork!
The final was just as dramatic. Shoreham took the lead, but were pegged back to take the game to penalties once again. After a tense battle and seven penalties taken, our girls secured a fantastic silver medal! 🥈
A brilliant team effort from start to finish. Congratulations to all the girls!
🌍 World Challenge 2026: What an adventure! 🌍
Today, our 2026 World Challenge pupils shared their amazing summer experience with fellow pupils in assembly. They talked about their highs and lows, fundraising journey and everything they got up to along the way, giving everyone a real insight into what it’s like to take on a World Challenge.
They delivered a fantastic presentation and we hope they have inspired others to take the step of a lifetime and join our next World Challenge to Costa Rica in July 2028! 🇨🇷
Parents, don’t forget that the parent launch is at 6pm on Friday 2 October. The link can be found in the Parent Bulletin.
We hope to see you there!
🍕 Pizza Party! 🍕
A well-deserved celebration for our top forms of the Michaelmas Term! 🎉
Well done to 9DA and 11GE, who enjoyed a pizza party last week to celebrate their fantastic achievement.
Creativity was in full flow in KS1 as our pupils explored the mindful art of Zentangle.
Using the outline of their own hands, they filled each section with intricate Zentangle patterns, experimenting with different shapes, lines and repeating designs to create unique pieces of artwork.
This calming activity encouraged focus, creativity and attention to detail, and every hand design was completely individual. We think they look fantastic!
