Silver Medal Success for Miss Buxton! π₯
During the Easter holidays, Miss Buxton represented Great Britain in the over 45 category at the European Masters Indoor Athletics Championships in Poland, competing in the pentathlon and securing an impressive silver medal after a closely contested competition.
Miss Buxtonβs dedication and determination are truly inspirational to our pupils, and we are incredibly proud to have such a fantastic role model in our PE team.
Well done!
Year 3 have had a sweet end to their Roald Dahl topic in true Willy Wonka style!
The children took part in their very own Wonka Chocolate Challenge, where they designed and invented their own unique chocolate bars.
They became real chocolatiers in the chocolate workshop. They learnt all about where chocolate comes from and how it is made and tempered chocolate to create chocolate pizzas.
It has been such a fun, memorable way to end the term.

We are so proud of our Year 1 and 2 Ukulele Club! πΆ
Over the past few weeks, the children have been learning how to play the ukulele, building their confidence and developing their musical skills. As part of this, they worked together to compose their very own song. The tune and lyrics are completely their own.
They showed fantastic teamwork, creativity and perseverance throughout the process, and it has been wonderful to see their ideas come to life.
Here is a video of their final piece. What an achievement!
