As part of their learning about the Romans and the destruction of Pompeii, Year 4 pupils created their own erupting volcanoes and brought them into school. What a fantastic way to bring history to life!

Orla recently took part in a local 5K cross-country race, competing in the same race as the adults, and crossed the finish line first!

Our co-curricular clubs are designed to introduce pupils to new interests, build confidence and spark passions that can continue far beyond the school gates.
After taking part in our Introduction to Scuba Diving club, Marley and Ollie went on to gain their PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Certificate - a fantastic achievement! Marley has already put his new skills into practice, completing two open water dives in Indonesia over the summer.
We love seeing our clubs become the starting point for new adventures and lifelong interests.
A great start to the hockey season for our U12 and U13 girls, who played their first match on the astro.
As an introduction to hockey, the girls showed fantastic progress, listened well to feedback and, most importantly, had lots of fun learning a new sport.
A special well done to Jess P, Charlotte F, Flo M and Selin D for adapting their game so well. Congratulations to everyone for their determination and courage!

As part of life in Year 6, they’re already enjoying some senior school experiences – using the science labs for their lessons and borrowing books from the senior school library.
Safe to say they’re all feeling very grown up already!
A great start to the season for our U15 girls, who travelled to Ardingly for their opening fixture.
After conceding an early goal, the team showed real determination, with Phoebe equalising before half-time. Despite a strong performance and some excellent saves from Scarlett, Ardingly took the win 6–1.
Shoreham kept fighting until the final whistle, creating several chances in the last 10 minutes. Player of the Match went to Ella, Phoebe and Alexa for their fantastic energy and running throughout the game. Well played, girls!
