The rowing team hit the water for the first time last Friday after weeks of hard work in the gym. With perfect conditions and a lot of excitement, Our year 9, 10, and 11 rowers finally got to put their technique and fitness to the test. It was an unforgettable session and safe to say, theyโve all officially caught the rowing bug! We look forward to the next session. Thank you to Shoreham Rowing Club for their kind help.
6Ba had a great time using ideas from their colour mixing session on their clay dragon eye.
Numerous themes were created including oceanic, forest, glacier and mystical.
Rather than sending home our Christmas cards in book bags, Little Lions and Reception always enjoy visiting the post office to buy our stamps and post the letters home instead.
This year we were extra lucky because a postal worker happened to be collecting the post while we were there! She showed us how she opens the letter box with a key and what it looks like inside and told us all about where the letters will go before they end up on their doormats!
Thank you also to the kindness of the people at Southwick Post Office who always greet us with a smile!
Weโre thrilled to share that Mabel in Y9 delivered an outstanding performance at the South East Schools Regional Trampoline Competition. Competing in the Girls Intermediate section, Mabel showcased incredible skill, focus, and determination to secure 1st place! ๐ฅ
Her victory reflects her hard work and dedication and secures her progression to the next round of the competition.
Way to go, Mabel - we canโt wait to see what you achieve next!
๐ A very festive Christmas wreath-making session was enjoyed by 16 of our pupils earlier this week.
Christmas cheer, seasonal tunes, and the expertise and direction of Miss Awbery inspired some beautifully festive wreaths to be made by everyone who attended. ๐๐๐
